Hello, I'm Natalya!

I offer you a therapeutic container that consists of body-centered inquiry and experiential practices, resources, mindfulness training, bodywork, and a biological pathway to move trauma and stress through your mind-body system. I use she/her pronouns. I live between two volcanoes and on the waters of the Columbia Gorge. Over half my family currently lives on another continent and I am stretched between two cultures.
I am a research geek continually seeking out the most depth of understanding and qualified teachers, shamans, mentors within Somatic Psychology, Dance, Eastern Medical theory, Buddhism, and Subtle Bodywork Therapies. I have my PHD in deep dive and a ridiculous amount of trainings. I am a licensed Massage Therapist, Registered Somatic Educator, and a Somatic Trauma Coach. I am a survivor of Complex Childhood PTSD, Alcoholism, Neglect, and sexual assault. Everything I offer you has been hard earned in my process of recovery. Dance saved my life and an African Queen named Mabiba who rocked my world at 21 years old. I then wanted a bigger ass, different body, and different skin tone as I became a Afro-Cuban and African Diaspora junkie. I put myself through college studying something for my heart not pocketbook: Dance Ethnology and Dance Movement Therapy. I know the power of embodied intelligence in it's powerful necessity in community. I am not a talk therapist. I believe in the innate intelligence of the body. I listen to the elements: fire, water, air, earth, space; nature is my mentor. I am also a bit of a plant addict. I love to bring people together to let the wild parts have voice. The shadow does not scare me. What scares me is the layers of stories that create separation and limits in our bodymind and community. I am interested in the the- WE SPACE. BOTTOM UP. COLLABORATIVE. COCREATIVE & ALCHEMICAL. I am a Mother of a brilliantly challenging teen boy! I am in peri-menopause which gives me a edge on the word CRAZY. My hair is greying. I am in revolt and upheaval as only the Divine Crone Feminine can do. I have experience working with clients in Chronic Illness & Pain, Surgical Recovery & Cancer treatment, Life Transitions, End of Life Care, Trauma & Stress, Anxiety, Spiritual Crisis, and Relationship Difficulties. I work with individuals and groups. I receive ongoing clinical supervision and I work with an integrated network of clinicians of the highest integrity and caliber. |
